    Metropolitan Line Extension - Three Rivers residents drop-in on Wednesday 16 March

    In November last year, London Underground took over the delivery of the Metropolitan Line Extension (MLX), previously known as the Croxley Rail Link. The main construction work is planned to begin later this year.

    In preparation for the main works they are currently undertaking enabling work. This includes utility diversion work which will take place in phases for the next six months around Baldwins Lane and Watford Road.  Further information about the road works can be found on the Travel page of our web site, please click here.

    To find out more about this work and the project as a whole, you are invited to a drop-in session on Wednesday 16 March from 4pm to 5.30pm. Members of the project team will be on hand to discuss any questions you may have.

    This will be followed by the first MLX Three Rivers Community Liaison Group from 6.30pm to 8pm. The Community Liaison Group will be made up of a number of members which will represent local residents and stakeholders. The group will meet quarterly in public with the local residents and stakeholders. The group will meet quarterly in public with the local residents and businesses welcome to attend any meeting. The Parish Council has been invited to be a regular member of the Community Liaison Group.

  • Metropolitan Line Extension - MEETING

    A new Community Liaison group re the Croxley Link (Met Line Ext.) takes place on 16th March at 6.30pm at TS Renown, Cassio Bridge We"ll soon see the work commencing on the construction of the Viaduct! Transport for London has proposed the creation of a Community Liaison Group to provide a local forum through which interested parties can raise matters of interest or concern regarding the construction works in the Croxley Green area. The Metropolitan Line Extension team can provide information on the progress of the project and advance notice of work schedules. The Metropolitan Line Extension team can demonstrate how the project is meetings its commitments The Community Liaison Group will be made up of a number of members which will represent local residents and stakeholders. Local ward councillors and representatives from Croxley Green Parish Council and business park have also been invited. The group will meet quarterly in public with the local residents and businesses welcome to attend any meeting. Whilst members will lead the main discussions, a public question and answer will take place at the end of each meeting. The CLG will not be a decision-making forum but it will enable relevant issues to be raised with the group members and give them a forum to discuss actions. Given local media amplification and CGRA persuasiveness relevant issues will get the best airing!
