The Yorke Mead School fireworks display is attended by children and parents from the school but also families with younger children from all over the village. For several years now this professional fireworks display, fired to music, has been an established event in the Croxley Green community calendar. Purchase your tickets in advance directly from Yorke Mead School. Tickets can be purchased every morning from 31st October - 4th November between 9:00 and 9:30 and every afternoon 15:00 to 15:45 from the school bike shed. Ticket sales outside of these times can be purchased from the school office during school hours. Advance ticket prices: Family ticket (up to 2 adults & 2 children) are £15, Adult £5, child £4. Tickets on the door: Adult £6, Child £5. Please note, advance ticket purchase is recommended as we have a limited number of tickets for sale. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks begin at 7pm. Refreshments and glow sticks will be on sale.
The next Royal British Legion Women's Section fundraising dance (Charity No. 219279) is being held on Saturday 8 October 2016 from 7.30 pm - 11 pm in the R.B.L. Club Hall, 161 Watford Road, Croxley Green, WD3 3ED. Non-members are most welcome. Tickets are on sale behind the Club bar - 01923 443210 at £3.50 - if no food wanted - or £8.00 with fish or chicken & chips followed by a dessert. Please purchase your ticket one week in advance should you require food. Listen, sing-along or dance - sequence. Ballroom and line dancing - to music provided by Millie. As this dance is to have a harvest theme, you might like to wear clothing that you would if you were going to a barn dance or bringing in the harvest!
