We are asking the residents of Croxley Green to help name our new tractor!
If you can think of a name which you think would be cool for our tractor then please get in touch. We are asking for any names at all, no matter how silly.
Our staff will then pick out a few of their favourites from which the residents of Croxley Green will be able to vote for their favourite at our stall at this year’s Revels.
The name which gets the most votes will then be added onto our tractor for all to see.

At our Annual Meeting on May 16, Cllr Andrew Gallagher was elected Chairman of Croxley Green Parish Council for 2019/20 & Cllr Nigel Cole will serve as Vice Chairman.

On Monday the Parish Council installed 10 bat boxes in Weston Wood.
The bat population is under threat and some of the species native to this country has reduced significantly over recent years.
Nigel Cole, a councillor for Durrants Ward and chair of the Leisure, Events and Environment Committee, proposed that the Council should take some action to offer some protection for these unique creatures and a sum of money was budgeted to provide winter roosting. Cllr Cole said, "with advice and support from Herts and Middlesex Bat Group, the Council purchased 10 bat boxes which were installed in Weston Wood, an environment that provides water, tall trees and shelter, all needed by bats to survive until Spring. We look forward to seeing evidence of occupation in due course."

This initiative follows on from the 45 bird boxes which the Council installed throughout the village in 2016.

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time Administrative Assistant to help run our busy local government office.
The successful candidate must be fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint), have good organisational skills, good telephone manner and social media experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. Some evening work will be required to take minutes at meetings for which time off in lieu is given.
