Positive Movement exercise classes now running in Croxley Green on a Tuesday afternoon from 13.30-15.00 at Croxley Green Methodist Church. Positive Movement is designed for older people, anyone with mobility programmes, those at risk of falls, people living with long-term conditions (including stroke) and carers. Not to be confused with chair-based exercise, it is a unique programme which draws together elements of Mindfulness, the Alexander Technique (very effective in changing habits which cause back and neck strain) and a system of Yoga which has been developed in the US especially for people with mobility issues. Classes cost £3 and are an hour long with time afterwards to socialise over a cup of tea.
