On Monday 5 December, the Parish Council took over 80 residents to the Winchester Christmas market for the 2022 Croxley Green Christmas coach trip.
Originally the plan was to only take one coach but due to huge demand the Parish Council funded a second coach to take an extra 35 residents.
Parish Councillor, Narinder Sian, with Croxley Green residents in Winchester.
This was the second Croxley Green senior citizen's coach trip of the year after visiting Margate for the day in Summer. Both trips are completely free of charge.
A great time was had by all and thank you to all the residents who have given us such positive and kind feedback.
The Parish Council continues to run a free weekly community bus service that travels to Watford every Friday for our Senior Citizen's. If you'd like details on how to use this service, which picks up from all over Croxley Green, then contact the Parish Council office on 01923 710250.
The Parish Council are considering expanding the community bus with a second journey to Rickmansworth, on a different week-day, but this will only happen if there is sufficient demand. If you think you would use this free service, and believe that it should be funded, then please make sure to let us know.
