Residents of Croxley Green are invited to join the Parish Council in this year’s Great Garden Birdwatch on Saturday, 25th January. The nationwide event encourages communities to observe and record bird species, helping to monitor the health of the UK’s bird populations.
The Council has organised two local meeting points for residents to join to take part:
- Weston Wood (Mill Lane end): Starting at 8:00 AM
- Barton Way Allotments: Starting at 9:30 AM
For those who prefer to participate from home, the Council encourages residents to download the official Birdwatch pack and record bird sightings in their gardens.
“Whether you’re joining us on-site or participating from home, your observations contribute to a vital conservation effort,” a spokesperson for the Parish Council said.
The event is a great opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of local wildlife. Don’t miss this chance to be part of something meaningful!
