Cllr Stephen Crabtree

I have been a resident of Croxley Green since 1995 with my wife, this is where our daughter grew up and went to school.

I am passionate about volunteering, financial inclusion and people’s well being. We have a wonderful community  in Croxley Green with many different activities that take place throughout each year.

I have been involved with The Revels and have been involved with Croxfest since it started 10 years ago. I have been the Chair of the organising committee for Croxfest the past 8 years and extremely proud of what we have accomplished with the music festival.

My working career spanning 35 years , brings a background of 18 years experience in banking and finance in The City of London with Barclays PLC.

The last  2 years of my banking career were spent in the Community Affairs department at the banks Head Office supporting employees with charity fundraising, volunteering opportunities and dealing with donation requests from charities. The next 16 years of my career were spent in the main, as an event crowd  safety management specialist in stadia at the highest level of professional sport ( football and rugby ) and more recently working for a local event production company.

My career has now gone full circle where I now work for The Citizens Advice Bureau providing money advice and debt counselling to individuals and families that need support. I am delighted to have been co-opted as a councillor and look forward to being able to contribute to the future of Croxley Green and supporting the residents in our community.
