Cllr Susan Hughes
I moved to Croxley Green with my (now) husband Daniel in 2006 intending to stay for only two years. A wedding, a daughter and two cats later we can’t think of anywhere else we would rather live.
My first career was as a scientist at Rothamsted Experimental Station before working in Homelessness for a Local Authority. After running my own catering business for several years I have now had a career change and am the Events Manager in the Fundraising Team at Peace Hospice Care in Watford.
My main area of interest in my role as Parish Councillor is working on events to promote the wonderful place we live and to give young people a voice. I would love to hear from you if you have any ideas on either of these subjects.
Outside of the Council I still have a passion for cooking, walking, running and can often be seen taxiing my daughter form one activity to another.
