Event Highlights & Distinguished Judging Panel
The event took place on Sunday 5 October at Stone’s Orchard, Croxley Green, from 11:00 to 16:00, and was hosted by Karrina (Coach & Behaviourist, Canine Coffee) with special guest Tim “The Trainer”.
A key feature of the show was its lineup of respected judges from the local community and canine industry, each bringing their expertise and passion:
-
Erica Bendall judged the “Bark Off” category (funniest bark, howl or “talking”).
-
Jenny Bridger oversaw the Best Young Handler category.
-
Dudley Edmunds, a returning judge with strong community ties, served as lead judge across multiple classes.
-
Lorna Martin judged the Best Groomed and Scruffiest classes.
-
Niki Phillips, Croxley Green’s Community Support Officer, lent her time and impartiality to the panel.
-
Rachael Leon, a local resident and dog-enthusiast, was also part of the panel.
The judges evaluated entries in a wide range of categories, including Best Puppy, Best Veteran, Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, Best Trick, culminating in Best in Show.
Other attractions included food stalls, arts & crafts, inflatables, face painting, and a generous raffle featuring prizes from local businesses.
Gratitude & Community Impact
Croxley Green Parish Council offers heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the event a success: the dog owners, judges, stall holders, food vendors, volunteers, and all those who contributed raffle prizes or donated. The shared enthusiasm and dedication help to strengthen our local community.
