NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
Due to the resignations of Councillors Susan Hughes and Angus Glasser, 2 vacancies have arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.If by 26 February 2025 (14 working days after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish Ward, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
Please be aware that, under section 228 of the Local Government Act 1972, the names of those who have called for an election is open to public inspection.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 2 May 2025 (60 working days after the date of this notice).
