NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that due to the resignation of Councillor Valeria Aguiar a vacancy has arisen in the
Office of Councillor for the Community Council.
If by 25 July 2025 (14 working days after the date of this notice) a request for an
election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address
below by TEN electors for the said Community Ward, an election will be held to fill the
said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
Please be aware that, under section 228 of the Local Government Act 1972, the
names of those who have called for an election is open to public inspection.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 29 September 2025 (60 working
days after the date of this notice).
